What is Sublustrum?
Sublustrum is a first-person psychological adventure built around sound. You arrive at your missing brother's apartment, find the strange machine he was building to reach the human subconscious, repair it, and follow him into the Flickering World — a shifting, surreal realm shaped from memories where reality dissolves at the edges.
It is a complete reimagining of the 2008 cult classic (released as Outcry outside Russia), rebuilt from the ground up by its original creators in fully explorable 3D. The concept began as an interactive companion album by dark ambient project Anthesteria — co-composer of the Metro 2033 soundtrack — which is why audio carries both the puzzles and the story, down to a whole location built as one giant playable instrument.
